DECISION OF THE EEA JOINT COMMITTEE No 143/2019
of 14 June 2019
amending Annex I (Veterinary and phytosanitary matters) to the EEA Agreement [2022/2135]
THE EEA JOINT COMMITTEE,
Having regard to the Agreement on the European Economic Area (“the EEA Agreement”), and in particular Article 98 thereof,
Whereas:

Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2019/454 of 20 March 2019 concerning the authorisation of preparations of alpha-amylase from Bacillus amyloliquefaciens DSM 9553, Bacillus amyloliquefaciens NCIMB 30251, or Aspergillus oryzae ATCC SD-5374, as well as a preparation of endo-1,4-beta-glucanase from Trichoderma reesei ATCC PTA-10001 as silage additives for all animal species (1) is to be incorporated into the EEA Agreement. |

This Decision concerns legislation regarding feedingstuffs. Legislation regarding feedingstuffs shall not apply to Liechtenstein as long as the application of the Agreement between the European Community and the Swiss Confederation on trade in agricultural products is extended to Liechtenstein, as specified in the sectoral adaptations to Annex I to the EEA Agreement. This Decision is therefore not to apply to Liechtenstein. |

Annex I to the EEA Agreement should therefore be amended accordingly, |
HAS ADOPTED THIS DECISION:
Article 1
The following point is inserted after point 285 (Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2019/144) of Chapter II of Annex I to the EEA Agreement:

32019 R 0454: Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2019/454 of 20 March 2019 concerning the authorisation of preparations of alpha-amylase from Bacillus amyloliquefaciens DSM 9553, Bacillus amyloliquefaciens NCIMB 30251, or Aspergillus oryzae ATCC SD-5374, as well as a preparation of endo-1,4-beta-glucanase from Trichoderma reesei ATCC PTA-10001 as silage additives for all animal species (OJ L 79, 21.3.2019, p. 4).’ |
Article 2
The text of Implementing Regulation (EU) 2019/454 in the Icelandic and Norwegian languages, to be published in the EEA Supplement to the Official Journal of the European Union, shall be authentic.
Article 3
This Decision shall enter into force on 15 June 2019, provided that all the notifications under Article 103(1) of the EEA Agreement have been made (*).
Article 4
This Decision shall be published in the EEA Section of, and in the EEA Supplement to, the Official Journal of the European Union.
