The procedures necessary for the entry into force of the Protocol to the Agreement on Cooperation and Customs Union between the European Economic Community and the Republic of San Marino, regarding the participation, as contracting parties, of the Republic of Bulgaria and Romania, following their accession to the European Union, signed in Brussels on 20 November 2007, having been completed on 31 January 2008, this Protocol entered into force, in conformity with its Article 5, on 1 February 2008.
