Amendment to recruitment notice PE/108/S

(Official Journal of the European Union C 145 A of 11 June 2008)

(2008/C 234/09)

The European Parliament published, in the Official Journal of 11 June 2008, recruitment notice PE/108/S for the post of Director (AD, grade 14) in the Directorate-General for Translation — Directorate A — Technology Support Services, in accordance with Article 29(2) of the Staff Regulations of officials of the European Communities, with 26 June 2008 set as the deadline for submission of applications.

In order to extend its range of choices, the Appointing Authority has decided to re-open the period for submission of applications. The new closing date will be 26 September 2008.

The re-opening of the period for submission of applications in no way affects the situation of candidates who have already been registered.

Apart from the abovementioned change, the initial recruitment notice remains unchanged. In particular, the admission criteria continue to be those set out in that notice: anyone taking advantage of the extension of the deadline to submit their first application must ensure that they fulfilled the admission criteria on the closing date indicated in the initial recruitment notice (i.e. 26 June 2008).

IMPORTANT: anyone whose application has, on the date of publication of the present announcement, already been registered may not submit a second application.
