    Title: Modification of N322/03 - training aid to Fiat and Comau

    Objective (sector): The training project is, according to the Italian authorities, an important mean not only for the accomplishment of the Fiat Group's industrial plan, but also for the improvement of Fiat Group's personnel's employability. The projects' goal is to develop competencies and know-how that can be employed not only within the group itself, but also in a wider context.

    Legal basis (in original language): La base giuridica è costituita dall'articolo 9 della legge 19 luglio1993, n. 236: ‘Interventi urgenti a sostegno dell'occupazione’ (ed inoltre l'Accordo quadro Fiat del dicembre 2002 e gli Accordi sindacali del 18 dicembre 2003).

    Budget: The aid amount will be of € 5 132 970.

    Aid intensity or amount: The aid intensity will be 33.7 % of the eligible costs for specific training (representing 15.9 % of the total training provided) and 58.6 % for general training.

    Duration: The modified training plan will last from 2004 to 2006.

    Aid intensity or amount: Aid for the reduction of activity and production aid covers the difference between production costs and selling price. Aid to cover exceptional costs covers the costs arising from of having arisen from the rationalisation and restructuring of the coal industry
