Communication from the Commission amending the communication relating to the characteristics of products to be supplied as Community food aid (2003/C 262/09) Communication 2000/C 312/01 relating to the characteristics of products to be supplied as Community food aid(1), as last amended by Communication 2002/C 181/09(2), is amended as follows: In Part C, point 1 is replaced by the following: "White sugar of the standard quality as referred to in Annex I, point I, of Regulation (EC) No 1260/2001 (OJ L 178, 30.6.2001, p. 1) meeting the requirements laid down in Article 4 paragraphs 1 and 2 of Regulation (EC) No 1262/2001 (OJ L 178, 30.6.2001, p. 48). The rule provided at the second indent of Article 19(2)(a) of Regulation (EC) No 1262/2001 is binding for the determination of the sugar category. The product must be white sugar in accordance with Article 1(2) of Regulation (EC) No 1260/2001: either A or B sugar [points (e) and (f)] or C sugar [point (g)].
