ASSENT No 2/97 (97/C 100/08)

By letter dated 17 December 1996 the European Commission requested the assent of the Council of the European Union in accordance with Article 54 (2) of the ECSC Treaty to the grant of a loan to Øresundsforbindelsen, Copenhagen (DK)/Malmö (S) for the co-financing of an investment project to facilitate the marketing of Community steel.

The Council gave its assent at its 1 993rd meeting on 13 March 1997.
