    1.

On 15 October 2007, the Commission received a notification of a proposed concentration pursuant to Article 4 of Council Regulation (EC) No 139/2004 (1) by which the undertaking Eurovia (France) belonging to the group Vinci and the undertaking Compagnie Signature SAS (France) ultimately controlled by Burelle SA acquire within the meaning of Article 3(1)(b) of the Council Regulation joint control of the undertakings Euromark (France) and Signature Holdings (France) by way of purchase of shares in these two companies constituting a joint venture.

    2.

The business activities of the undertakings concerned are:

for Eurovia: road works, in particular road marking and vertical road signs activities, production of materials, development and management of the environment and related services,

for Compagnie Signature: road marking and vertical road signs activities, road security signs, and street furniture,

    for Euromark: road markingactivities,

for Signature Holdings: vertical road signs activities and road safety equipment.
