Amendment to the calls for proposals for indirect RTD actions under the specific programme (Euratom) for research and training on nuclear energy (2002-2006)

The following amendments have been decided by the Commission on 1 December 2004 (1):

On page 82, under point 6 of Annex 2 ‘Euratom Call Open’:

for:

Closure date(s):6 May 2003, 14 October 2003, 13 April 2004, 12 October 2004, 12 April 2005, 11 October 2005 and 11 April 2006 at 17.00 (Brussels local time)’,

read:

Closure date(s):6 May 2003, 14 October 2003, 14 April 2004, 18 October 2004, 12 April 2005, 11 October 2005 and 11 April 2006 at 17.00 (Brussels local time)’.

On page 82, under point 7 of Annex 2 ‘Euratom Call Open’:

for:

Total indicative budget:EUR 2 million for proposals evaluated in 2003. Total indicative budget for 2004, 2005 and 2006 will be given in periodic updates of the work programme.’,

read:

Total indicative budget:

EUR 3 million per closure date in 2005, of which up to EUR 1,5 million for fusion energy research and EUR 1,5 million for management of radioactive waste, radiation protection and other activities in the field of nuclear technologies and safety.

Total indicative budget for 2006 will be given in the next update of the work programme.’

On page 82, under point 8 ‘Areas called and instruments’, in area 3.5.3, column ‘Instrument’ of Annex 2 ‘Euratom Call Open’:
