- Initiative summary:
- The initiative aims to adapt the strategic partnership with the EU outermost regions to the new EU priorities, e.g. green and digital transition and the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on these regions. It would also support these regions in seizing the specific opportunities enshrined in EU policies, regulations, programmes and funds; strengthen the dialogue with these regions; and renew the commitment to mainstreaming their specificities across EU policies.
