Notice concerning the anti-dumping measures in force in respect of imports into the Community of certain seamless pipes and tubes, of iron or steel originating, inter alia, in Ukraine; change of the names of two companies which are subject to an individual anti-dumping duty for co-operating companies

    (2007/C 288/10)

Imports of certain seamless pipes and tubes, of iron or steel originating, inter alia, in the Ukraine are subject to a definitive anti-dumping duty imposed by Regulation (EC) No 954/2006 (1).

CJSC Nikopolsky Seamless Tubes Plant Niko Tube and OJSC Nizhnedneprovsky Tube Rolling Plant, companies located in Ukraine, whose exports to the Community of certain seamless pipes and tubes, of iron or steel are subject to an individual anti-dumping duty of 25,1 % by the above-mentioned Regulation, have informed the Commission that their company names changed on 1 and 14 February 2007 respectively to CJSC Interpipe Nikopolsky Seamless Tubes Plant Niko Tube and OJSC Interpipe Nizhnedneprovsky Tube Rolling Plant. These company name changes were recorded by the State Tax Administration of Ukraine.

The companies argued that their changes of name do not affect their right to benefit from the individual anti-dumping duty applied to them under their previous names of CJSC Nikopolsky Seamless Tubes Plant Niko Tube and OJSC Nizhnedneprovsky Tube Rolling Plant.

The Commission has examined the information provided and has concluded that this change of names in no way affects the findings of Regulation (EC) No 954/2006. Therefore, the references to CJSC Nikopolsky Seamless Tubes Plant Niko Tube and OJSC Nizhnedneprovsky Tube Rolling Plant should be read as CJSC Interpipe Nikopolsky Seamless Tubes Plant Niko Tube and OJSC Interpipe Nizhnedneprovsky Tube Rolling Plant in Article 1 of Regulation (EC) No 954/2006.

The Taric additional code A743 previously attributed to CJSC Nikopolsky Seamless Tubes Plant Niko Tube and OJSC Nizhnedneprovsky Tube Rolling Plant shall apply to CJSC Interpipe Nikopolsky Seamless Tubes Plant Niko Tube and OJSC Interpipe Nizhnedneprovsky Tube Rolling Plant.
