    Maximum aid intensity

    In accordance with Regulation (EC) No 70/2001, the aid intensity may not exceed 7,5 % or 15 %, depending on the size of the business.

    Where the investment takes place in areas that qualify for regional aid, the aid intensity must not exceed the ceiling for regional investment aid laid down in the map approved by the Commission for each Member State by more than the percentages applicable under Article 4(3) of Regulation (EC) No 70/2001.

    For investment in the processing and marketing of agricultural products, the maximum aid intensity may not exceed:

    50 % of eligible investments in regions eligible under Article 87(3)(a) of the EC Treaty,

    40 % of eligible costs in other regions

    Aid to cooperative SMEs for investment projects in tangible fixed assets, to be implemented after the request for funding is submitted.

    Eligible expenditure (net of VAT) to purchase land and buildings, carry out building works and to purchase, modernise and restructure machinery, equipment and facilities
