Exchange of letters with Pakistan His Excellency Mr. Riaz Piracha, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary, Head of the Pakistan Delegation, Brussels. Your Excellency, I have the honour to refer to the request of your Government on 25 July 1969 that the tariff quota, opened on 1 September 1969 for a number of handicraft products, should be extended by the Community to a number of other products. After a detailed study of that request, I have the honour to inform you that the European Economic Community is prepared to extend the tariff quota opened on 1 September 1969 to the products included in the list attached. Please accept, Your Excellency, the assurance of my highest consideration. On behalf of the Council of the European Communities Your Excellency, I have the honour to acknowledge receipt of your letter of... worded as follows: "I have the honour to refer to the request of your Government of 25 July 1969 that the tariff quota, opened on 1 September 1969 for a number of handicraft products, should be extended by the Community to a number of other products. After a detailed study of that request, I have the honour to inform you that the European Economic Community is prepared to extend the tariff quota opened on 1 September 1969 to the products included in the list attached.
