DECIZIA DE PUNERE ÎN APLICARE (UE) 2023/1534 A COMISIEI
din 24 iulie 2023
de selectare a entităților care formează rețeaua inițială de centre europene de inovare digitală în conformitate cu Regulamentul (UE) 2021/694 al Parlamentului European și al Consiliului
(Text cu relevanță pentru SEE)
COMISIA EUROPEANĂ,
având în vedere Tratatul privind funcționarea Uniunii Europene,
având în vedere Regulamentul (UE) 2021/694 al Parlamentului European și al Consiliului din 29 aprilie 2021 de instituire a programului „Europa digitală” și de abrogare a Deciziei (UE) 2015/2240 (1) și, în special, articolul 16 alineatul (3) primul paragraf și articolul 23 alineatul (2),
întrucât:

În temeiul articolului 16 alineatul (3) din Regulamentul (UE) 2021/694, Comisia trebuie să selecteze entitățile care să formeze o rețea inițială de centre europene de inovare digitală. |

Pentru a selecta centrele europene de inovare digitală care să formeze rețeaua inițială pe baza listei entităților candidate desemnate de statele membre, Comisia a lansat două cereri de propuneri și a evaluat propunerile prezentate, cu sprijinul unui comitet de experți independent. Prima cerere de propuneri (DIGITAL-2021-EDIH-01-INITIAL) a fost lansată la 17 noiembrie 2021 și s-a încheiat la 22 februarie 2022, iar cea de a doua cerere (DIGITAL-2022-EDIH-03) a fost lansată la 29 septembrie 2022 și s-a încheiat la 16 noiembrie 2022. Pe parcursul ambelor procese de evaluare, Comisia a ținut seama în cea mai mare măsură de opinia fiecărui stat membru înainte de a selecta un centru european de inovare digitală de pe teritoriul respectivului stat membru. |

În urma primei cereri de propuneri, Comisia a reținut 136 de propuneri, iar în urma celei de doua cereri a reținut 15 propuneri. |

Pentru ca un stat membru să poată finanța mai multe centre europene de inovare digitală de pe teritoriul său, centrelor europene de inovare digitală care au depășit cu succes toate pragurile de evaluare, dar care nu au putut primi finanțare din cauza lipsei de buget disponibil pentru cererile de propuneri relevante din programul de lucru ar trebui să li se acorde marca de excelență în conformitate cu articolul 23 alineatul (2) din Regulamentul (UE) 2021/694. |

Măsurile prevăzute în prezenta decizie sunt conforme cu avizul Comitetului de coordonare al programului „Europa digitală”, |
ADOPTĂ PREZENTA DECIZIE:
Articolul 1
S-au selectat centrele europene de inovare digitală care formează rețeaua inițială a acestora, astfel cum figurează în anexele I și II.
Articolul 2
Entitățile reținute pentru finanțare prin programul „Europa digitală” sunt enumerate în anexa I.
Entitățile cărora li s-a acordat marca de excelență sunt enumerate în anexa II.
Articolul 3
Prezenta decizie intră în vigoare în a douăzecea zi de la data publicării în Jurnalul Oficial al Uniunii Europene.
