REGULAMENTO DE EXECUÇÃO (UE) N.o 789/2013 DA COMISSÃO
de 16 de agosto de 2013
que altera o Regulamento (CE) n.o 2368/2002 do Conselho relativo à aplicação do sistema de certificação do Processo de Kimberley para o comércio internacional de diamantes em bruto
A COMISSÃO EUROPEIA,
Tendo em conta o Tratado sobre o Funcionamento da União Europeia,
Tendo em conta o Regulamento (CE) n.o 2368/2002 do Conselho, de 20 de dezembro de 2002, relativo à aplicação do sistema de certificação do Processo de Kimberley para o comércio internacional de diamantes em bruto (1), nomeadamente o artigo 19.o, n.o 6, e o artigo 20.o,
Considerando o seguinte:

Na reunião plenária de Washington, em novembro de 2012, os participantes no Processo de Kimberley aprovaram, por decisão do plenário, a adição do Panamá, do Camboja e do Cazaquistão na lista de participantes no Processo de Kimberley. |

(2) |
Tal como confirmado por um aviso da Presidência do Processo de Kimberley de 1 de agosto de 2012, os participantes no processo aprovaram, por procedimento escrito, a inclusão do Mali na lista dos Participantes do Processo de Kimberley. |

(3) |
Além disso, há que atualizar o endereço do ponto de vários participantes, no anexo II. |
|
(4) |
O anexo II do Regulamento (CE) n.o 2368/2002 deve ser alterado em conformidade. |
|
(5) |
As medidas previstas no presente regulamento estão em conformidade com o parecer do Comité referido no artigo 22.o do Regulamento (CE) n.o 2368/2002, |
ADOTOU O PRESENTE REGULAMENTO:
Artigo 1.o
O Regulamento (CE) n.o 2368/2002 é alterado do seguinte modo:
O anexo II é substituído pelo texto constante do anexo ao presente regulamento.
Artigo 2.o
O presente regulamento entra em vigor no dia seguinte ao da sua publicação no Jornal Oficial da União Europeia.
O presente regulamento é obrigatório em todos os seus elementos e diretamente aplicável em todos os Estados-Membros.
