DECISÃO DO CONSELHO
de 1 de Janeiro de 2007
que nomeia membros e suplentes búlgaros e romenos do Comité das Regiões
(2007/6/CE)
O CONSELHO DA UNIÃO EUROPEIA,
Tendo em conta o Tratado que institui a Comunidade Europeia, nomeadamente o artigo 263.o, quarto parágrafo,
Tendo em conta o Acto de Adesão da Bulgária e da Roménia, nomeadamente os artigos 13.o e 49.o,
Tendo em conta as propostas dos Governos da República da Bulgária e da Roménia,
Considerando o seguinte:

Os membros e os suplentes do Comité das Regiões foram nomeados, para o período compreendido entre 26 de Janeiro de 2006 e 25 de Janeiro de 2010, pela Decisão 2006/116/CE do Conselho (1). |

Na sequência da adesão da República da Bulgária e da Roménia à União Europeia, é necessário aumentar o Comité das Regiões com a nomeação de vinte e sete membros e vinte e sete suplentes, representativos das pessoas colectivas territoriais regionais e locais dos novos Estados-Membros, que sejam quer titulares de um mandato eleitoral a nível regional ou local, quer politicamente responsáveis perante uma assembleia eleita, |
DECIDE:
Artigo 1.o
São nomeados para o Comité das Regiões, para o período que decorre até 25 de Janeiro de 2010:

como membros, as pessoas incluídas na lista por Estado-Membro constante do anexo I, |
|
— |
como suplentes, as pessoas incluídas na lista por Estado-Membro constante do anexo II. |
Artigo 2.o
A presente decisão produz efeitos na data da sua aprovação.
É aplicável a partir de 1 de Janeiro de 2007.
