VERORDENING (EG) Nr. 613/2007 VAN DE COMMISSIE
van 1 juni 2007
tot wijziging van Verordening (EG) nr. 2368/2002 van de Raad tot uitvoering van de Kimberleyprocescertificering voor de internationale handel in ruwe diamant
DE COMMISSIE VAN DE EUROPESE GEMEENSCHAPPEN,
Gelet op het Verdrag tot oprichting van de Europese Gemeenschap,
Gelet op Verordening (EG) nr. 2368/2002 van de Raad van 20 december 2002 tot uitvoering van de Kimberleyprocescertificering voor de internationale handel in ruwe diamant (1), en met name op de artikelen 19 en 20,
Overwegende hetgeen volgt:

De voorzitter van de Kimberleyprocescertificering heeft in een notitie van 3 mei 2007 besloten Liberia met ingang van 4 mei 2007 op te nemen in de lijst van deelnemers aan de Kimberleyprocescertificering. |

(2) |
Bijlage II dient derhalve dienovereenkomstig te worden gewijzigd. De wijziging van bijlage II doet geen afbreuk aan de specifieke regels van Verordening (EG) nr. 234/2004 van de Raad van 10 februari 2004 betreffende bepaalde beperkende maatregelen ten aanzien van Liberia en tot intrekking van Verordening (EG) nr. 1030/2003 (2). |

Duitsland heeft de Commissie ingelicht over een wijziging van de gegevens betreffende zijn communautaire autoriteiten. |

(4) |
Bijlage III moet derhalve dienovereenkomstig worden gewijzigd, |
HEEFT DE VOLGENDE VERORDENING VASTGESTELD:
Artikel 1
Bijlage II bij Verordening (EG) nr. 2368/2002 wordt vervangen door de tekst in bijlage I bij deze verordening.
Artikel 2
Bijlage III bij Verordening (EG) nr. 2368/2002 wordt vervangen door de tekst in bijlage II bij deze verordening.
Artikel 3
Deze verordening treedt in werking op de dag volgende op die van haar bekendmaking in het Publicatieblad van de Europese Unie.
Zij is van toepassing met ingang van 4 mei 2007.
Deze verordening is verbindend in al haar onderdelen en is rechtstreeks toepasselijk in elke lidstaat.
