houdende wijziging van Verordening (EG) nr. 2368/2002 van de Raad tot uitvoering van de Kimberley-procescertificering voor de internationale handel in ruwe diamant

DE COMMISSIE VAN DE EUROPESE GEMEENSCHAPPEN,

Gelet op het Verdrag tot oprichting van de Europese Gemeenschap,

Gelet op Verordening (EG) nr. 2368/2002 van de Raad van 20 december 2002 tot uitvoering van de Kimberley-procescertificering voor de internationale handel in ruwe diamant(1), laatstelijk gewijzigd bij Verordening (EG) nr. 101/2004 van de Commissie(2), en met name op artikel 20,

Overwegende hetgeen volgt:

(1) Volgens artikel 20 van Verordening (EG) nr. 2368/2002 kan de in bijlage II opgenomen lijst van deelnemers aan de Kimberley-procescertificering worden gewijzigd.

(2) De voorzitter van de Kimberley-procescertificering heeft in een notitie van 1 april 2004 een herziene lijst opgenomen van deelnemers aan de Kimberley-procescertificering. De herziening van de lijst betreft de toevoeging als deelnemer van Singapore en de schrapping van Libanon,

HEEFT DE VOLGENDE VERORDENING VASTGESTELD:

Artikel 1

Bijlage II bij Verordening (EG) nr. 2368/2002 wordt vervangen door de bijlage bij deze verordening.

Artikel 2

Deze verordening treedt in werking op de dag van haar bekendmaking in het Publicatieblad van de Europese Unie.

Deze verordening is verbindend in al haar onderdelen en is rechtstreeks toepasselijk in elke lidstaat.
