    DECISION OF THE EEA JOINT COMMITTEE

    No 118/2006

    of 22 September 2006

    amending Annex VI (Social security) to the EEA Agreement

    THE EEA JOINT COMMITTEE,

    Having regard to the Agreement on the European Economic Area, as amended by the Protocol adjusting the Agreement on the European Economic Area, hereinafter referred to as ‘the Agreement’, and in particular Article 98 thereof,

    Whereas:

    (1)

    Annex VI to the Agreement was amended by Decision of the EEA Joint Committee No 85/2006 of 7 July 2006 (1).

    (2)

    Decision of the Administrative Commission of the European Communities on Social Security for Migrant Workers No 202 of 17 March 2005 on model forms necessary for the application of Council Regulations (EEC) No 1408/71 and (EEC) No 574/72 (E 001, E 101, E 102, E 103, E 104, E 106, E 107, E 108, E 109, E 112, E 115, E 116, E 117, E 118, E 120, E 121, E 123, E 124, E 125, E 126 and E 127) (2) is to be incorporated into the Agreement.

    (3)

    Decisions of the Administrative Commission of the European Communities on Social Security for Migrant Workers Nos 153, 164, 166, 168, 179, 185 and 186, presently incorporated in the Agreement, are replaced by Decision No 202,

    HAS DECIDED AS FOLLOWS:

    Article 1

    Annex VI to the Agreement shall be amended as follows:

    1.

    The texts of points 3.39 (Decision No 153), 3.48 (Decision No 164) and 3.62 (Decision No 186) shall be deleted.

    2.

    The following point shall be inserted after point 3.77 (Decision No 201):

    ‘3.78.

    		 32006 D 0203: Decision No 202 of the Administrative Commission of the European Communities on Social Security for Migrant Workers of 17 March 2005 on model forms necessary for the application of Council Regulations (EEC) No 1408/71 and (EEC) No 574/72 (E 001, E 101, E 102, E 103, E 104, E 106, E 107, E 108, E 109, E 112, E 115, E 116, E 117, E 118, E 120, E 121, E 123, E 124, E 125, E 126 and E 127) (OJ L 77, 15.3.2006, p. 1).’

    Article 2

    The texts of Decision No 202 in the Icelandic and Norwegian languages, to be published in the EEA Supplement to the Official Journal of the European Union, shall be authentic.

    Article 3

    This Decision shall enter into force on 23 September 2006, provided that all the notifications under Article 103(1) of the Agreement have been made to the EEA Joint Committee (*1).

    Article 4

    This Decision shall be published in the EEA Section of, and in the EEA Supplement to, the Official Journal of the European Union.
