Aid scheme for the production of sustainable biofuels and renewable liquid transport fuels of non-biological origin

Teisinis pagrindas

Article 32 of Law 3468/2006 referring to the biofuel targets in the transport sector as per Directive (EU) 2018/2001 (“RED II”), as it has been incorporated per Law 5037/2023 and is currently in the process of being amended in view of the transposition of Directive (EU) 2023/2413 (“RED III”), due on May 21, 2025; Article 15A of Law 3054/200 as it stands today and is expected to be amended in Q1 2025, in order to include renewable and low-carbon fuels; The decision of the competent national authority to be issued for any additional financing of the Measure under the Public Investment Program / PIP and/or the Partnership Agreement for the Development Framework 2021-2027 / PA for the Development Framework 2021-2027, if necessary; and The future (Joint) Ministerial Decision, that sets up the scheme. The (Joint) Ministerial Decision will be adopted after the notification of the Commission decision approving the measure to the national authorities
