iš dalies keičiantis Sprendimą 87/257/EEB dėl šviežiai mėsai į Bendriją importuoti patvirtintų Jungtinių Amerikos Valstijų įmonių sąrašo

EUROPOS BENDRIJŲ KOMISIJA,

atsižvelgdama į Europos ekonominės bendrijos steigimo sutartį,

atsižvelgdama į 1972 m. gruodžio 12 d. Tarybos direktyvą 72/462/EEB dėl sveikatos ir veterinarinio patikrinimo problemų importuojant galvijus, avis, ožkas, kiaules, šviežią mėsą arba mėsos produktus iš trečiųjų šalių [1], su paskutiniais pakeitimais, padarytais Direktyva 91/688/EEB [2], ypač į jos 4 straipsnio 1 punktą ir 18 straipsnio 1 punktą,

kadangi šviežiai mėsai į Bendriją importuoti patvirtintų Jungtinių Amerikos Valstijų įmonių sąrašas pirmą kartą buvo sudarytas Komisijos sprendimu 87/257/EEB [3], su paskutiniais pakeitimais, padarytais Tarybos sprendimu 91/522/EEB [4]; kadangi šis sąrašas gali būti bet kada patikslintas, atsižvelgiant į Bendrijos Jungtinėse Amerikos Valstijose atliktų patikrinimų rezultatus;

kadangi, per paskutinį vadovaujantis Direktyvos 72/462/EEB 5 straipsniu ir 1986 m. rugsėjo 11 d. Komisijos sprendimo 86/474/EEB dėl patikrinimų vietoje, kuriuos būtina atlikti iš šalių, kurios nėra narės, importuojant galvijus, kiaules ir šviežią mėsą, įgyvendinimo [5] 2 straipsnio 1 punktu atliktą patikrinimą pastebėti kai kurie tam tikrose įmonėse įdiegti patobulinimai; kadangi Komisijai buvo pateiktos garantijos dėl atitinamų įmonių;

kadangi šiame sprendime numatytos priemonės atitinka Veterinarijos nuolatinio komiteto nuomonę,

PRIĖMĖ ŠĮ SPRENDIMĄ:

1 straipsnis

Sprendimo 87/257/EEB priedas pakeičiamas šio sprendimo priedu.

2 straipsnis

Valstybės narės leidžia importuoti šviežią mėsą iš įmonės 889 A ("JF O'Neill Packing Co.", Omaha, Nebraska).

3 straipsnis

Komisija gali nustatyti datą, nuo kurios valstybės narės leidžia importuoti šviežią mėsą iš įmonių 5736 A ("VMI Corporation", Omaha, Nebraska) ir 245 L ("IBP", Lexington, Nebraska), šiose įmonėse atlikus pakartotinį patikrinimą ir informavus valstybes nares, įeinančias į Veterinarijos nuolatinio komiteto sudėtį, apie patikrinimo rezultatus.

Šis sprendimas skirtas valstybėms narėms.
