REGOLAMENTO DI ESECUZIONE (UE) N. 789/2013 DELLA COMMISSIONE
del 16 agosto 2013
che modifica il regolamento (CE) n. 2368/2002 del Consiglio relativo all'attuazione del sistema di certificazione del processo di Kimberley per il commercio internazionale di diamanti grezzi
LA COMMISSIONE EUROPEA,
visto il trattato sul funzionamento dell'Unione europea,
visto il regolamento (CE) n. 2368/2002 del Consiglio, del 20 dicembre 2002, relativo all'attuazione del sistema di certificazione del processo di Kimberley per il commercio internazionale di diamanti grezzi (1), in particolare l'articolo 19, paragrafo 6, e l'articolo 20,
considerando quanto segue:

In occasione della riunione plenaria tenutasi a Washington nel novembre 2012, i partecipanti al processo di Kimberley hanno approvato, mediante decisione della plenaria, l'aggiunta di Panama, della Cambogia e del Kazakistan all'elenco dei partecipanti al processo di Kimberley. |

Come confermato il 1o agosto 2013 da una comunicazione della presidenza, i partecipanti al processo di Kimberley hanno altresì approvato, con procedura scritta, l'aggiunta del Mali all'elenco. |

(3) |
Occorre inoltre aggiornare l'indirizzo dei punti di contatto di diversi partecipanti nell'allegato II. |
|
(4) |
L'allegato II del regolamento (CE) n. 2368/2002 deve quindi essere opportunamente modificato. |
|
(5) |
Le misure previste dal presente regolamento sono conformi al parere del comitato di cui all'articolo 22 del regolamento (CE) n. 2368/2002, |
HA ADOTTATO IL PRESENTE REGOLAMENTO:
Articolo 1
Il regolamento (CE) n. 2368/2002 è così modificato:
l'allegato II è sostituito dal testo che figura nell'allegato del presente regolamento.
Articolo 2
Il presente regolamento entra in vigore il giorno successivo alla pubblicazione nella Gazzetta ufficiale dell'Unione europea.
Il presente regolamento è obbligatorio in tutti i suoi elementi e direttamente applicabile in ciascuno degli Stati membri.
