REGOLAMENTO (CE) N. 613/2007 DELLA COMMISSIONE
del 1o giugno 2007
che modifica il regolamento (CE) n. 2368/2002 del Consiglio relativo all’attuazione del sistema di certificazione del processo di Kimberley per il commercio internazionale di diamanti grezzi
LA COMMISSIONE DELLE COMUNITÀ EUROPEE,
visto il trattato che istituisce la Comunità europea,
visto il regolamento (CE) n. 2368/2002 del Consiglio, del 20 dicembre 2002, relativo all’attuazione del sistema di certificazione del processo di Kimberley per il commercio internazionale di diamanti grezzi (1), in particolare gli articoli 19 e 20,
considerando quanto segue:

Il presidente del sistema di certificazione del processo di Kimberley ha comunicato, con circolare del 3 maggio 2007, la sua decisione di aggiungere la Liberia all’elenco dei partecipanti dal 4 maggio 2007. |

Occorre quindi modificare in tal senso l’allegato II. La modifica dell’allegato II lascia impregiudicate le disposizioni specifiche del regolamento (CE) n. 234/2004 del Consiglio, del 10 febbraio 2004, relativo a talune misure restrittive nei confronti della Liberia e che abroga il regolamento (CE) n. 1030/2003 (2). |

La Germania ha informato la Commissione dei cambiamenti relativi ai dati delle sue autorità comunitarie. |

Occorre quindi modificare in tal senso l’allegato III, |
HA ADOTTATO IL PRESENTE REGOLAMENTO:
Articolo 1
L’allegato II del regolamento (CE) n. 2368/2002 è sostituito dal testo dell’allegato I del presente regolamento.
Articolo 2
L’allegato III del regolamento (CE) n. 2368/2002 è sostituito dal testo dell’allegato 2 del presente regolamento.
Articolo 3
Il presente regolamento entra in vigore il giorno successivo alla pubblicazione nella Gazzetta ufficiale dell’Unione europea.
Esso si applica a decorrere dal 4 maggio 2007.
Il presente regolamento è obbligatorio in tutti i suoi elementi e direttamente applicabile in ciascuno degli Stati membri.
