DECISIONE DELLA COMMISSIONE

del 24 febbraio 1984

che modifica la decisione 83/402/CEE per quanto riguarda l'elenco degli stabilimenti della Nuova Zelanda, in provenienza dai quali è autorizzata l'importazione di carni fresche nella Comunità

LA COMMISSIONE DELLE COMUNITÀ EUROPEE,

visto il trattato che istituisce la Comunità economica europea,

vista la direttiva 72/462/CEE del Consiglio, del 12 dicembre 1972, relativa a problemi sanitari e di polizia sanitaria all'importazione di animali delle specie bovina e suina e di carni fresche in provenienza dai paesi terzi (1), modificata da ultimo dalla direttiva 83/91/CEE (2), in particolare l'articolo 4, paragrafo 1, l'articolo 16 e l'articolo 18, paragrafo 1, lettere a) e b),

considerando che l'elenco degli stabilimenti della Nuova Zelanda, in provenienza dai quali è autorizzata l'importazione di carni fresche nella Comunità, è stato fissato inizialmente con decisione 83/402/CEE della Commissione (3), modificata dalla decisione 83/449/CEE (4);

considerando che da un'ispezione di routine, eseguita in base all'articolo 5 della direttiva 72/462/CEE e all'articolo 3, paragrafo 1, della decisione 83/196/CEE della Commissione, dell'8 aprile 1983, relativa ai controlli sul posto effettuati nel quadro del regime applicabile alle importazioni di animali delle specie bovina e suina e di carni fresche in provenienza dai paesi terzi (5), è emerso che in taluni stabilimenti il livello igienico è mutato rispetto all'ispezione precedente; che conviene corrispondentemente iscrivere o mantenere alcuni di questi stabilimenti in detto elenco e per un altro stabilimento, per ragioni d'igiene, prendere misure particolari per quanto riguarda l'ammissione nella Comunità delle carni che sono state ivi stoccate;

considerando che a tale scopo è necessario fissare il termine ultimo per l'introduzione nel territorio comunitario delle carni fresche provenienti da quest'ultimo stabilimento e che dopo tale data lo sbarco delle carni non potrà, in alcun caso, essere autorizzato;

considerando che è necessario modificare corrispondentemente l'elenco degli stabilimenti;

considerando che le misure previste dalla presente decisione sono conformi al parere del comitato veterinario permanente,

HA ADOTTATO LA PRESENTE DECISIONE:

Articolo 1

L'allegato della decisione 83/402/CEE è sostituito dall'allegato della presente decisione.

Articolo 2

Gli Stati membri sono destinatari della presente decisione.
