REGOLAMENTO DI ESECUZIONE (UE) N. 622/2013 DELLA COMMISSIONE
del 25 giugno 2013
che modifica il regolamento (CE) n. 2368/2002 del Consiglio relativo all'attuazione del sistema di certificazione del processo di Kimberley per il commercio internazionale di diamanti grezzi
LA COMMISSIONE EUROPEA,
visto il trattato sul funzionamento dell'Unione europea,
visto il regolamento (CE) n. 2368/2002 del Consiglio, del 20 dicembre 2002, relativo all'attuazione del sistema di certificazione del processo di Kimberley per il commercio internazionale di diamanti grezzi (1), in particolare l'articolo 20,
considerando quanto segue:

L'allegato II del regolamento (CE) n. 2368/2002 contiene l'elenco dei partecipanti al sistema di certificazione del processo di Kimberley e delle loro autorità competenti debitamente designate. |
|
(2) |
Il 23 maggio 2013 il presidente del processo di Kimberley ha emanato una comunicazione in cui confermava, mediante procedura scritta, che i partecipanti avevano deciso di non spedire partite di diamanti grezzi nella Repubblica centrafricana e di non ricevere partite di diamanti grezzi dalla Repubblica centrafricana fintanto che non sarà stata accertata la capacità del paese di garantire la conformità con gli standard minimi del processo. |

Occorre pertanto modificare opportunamente l'allegato II del regolamento (CE) n. 2368/2002. |

(4) |
Le misure previste dal presente regolamento sono conformi al parere del comitato di cui all'articolo 22 del regolamento (CE) n. 2368/2002. |

(5) |
Il presente regolamento deve entrare in vigore immediatamente per garantire l'efficacia delle misure ivi previste, |
HA ADOTTATO IL PRESENTE REGOLAMENTO:
Articolo 1
L'allegato II del regolamento (CE) n. 2368/2002 è sostituito dal testo figurante nell'allegato del presente regolamento.
Articolo 2
Il presente regolamento entra in vigore il giorno della pubblicazione nella Gazzetta ufficiale dell'Unione europea.
Il presente regolamento è obbligatorio in tutti i suoi elementi e direttamente applicabile in ciascuno degli Stati membri.
