- Initiative summary:
- The Commission should adopt technical rules on geographical indications in the AGRI sector (wine, spirits and agricultural products). Purpose is to adapt the secondary legislation (delegated and implementing rules on Geographical Indications) to the new Regulation of the Parliament and of the Council on Geographical Indications (EU 2024/XXXX). It is needed for a proper functioning of the system.
