REGOLAMENTO DI ESECUZIONE (UE) 2020/130 DELLA COMMISSIONE
del 28 gennaio 2020
che modifica il regolamento (CE) n. 2368/2002 del Consiglio relativo all’attuazione del sistema di certificazione del processo di Kimberley per il commercio internazionale di diamanti grezzi
LA COMMISSIONE EUROPEA,
visto il trattato sul funzionamento dell’Unione europea,
visto il regolamento (CE) n. 2368/2002 del Consiglio, del 20 dicembre 2002, relativo all’attuazione del sistema di certificazione del processo di Kimberley per il commercio internazionale di diamanti grezzi (1), in particolare l’articolo 20,
considerando quanto segue:

L’allegato II del regolamento (CE) n. 2368/2002 contiene l’elenco dei partecipanti al sistema di certificazione del processo di Kimberley e delle loro autorità competenti debitamente designate. |

(2) |
Gli indirizzi delle autorità competenti di diversi partecipanti al processo di Kimberley devono essere aggiornati. |
|
(3) |
Nel settembre 2019 la Repubblica popolare cinese ha notificato ai partecipanti al processo di Kimberley che la Regione amministrativa speciale di Macao della Repubblica popolare cinese attuerà formalmente il sistema di certificazione del processo di Kimberley a decorrere dal 1o ottobre 2019. |

È pertanto opportuno modificare di conseguenza l’allegato II del regolamento (CE) n. 2368/2002. Per consentire alla Regione amministrativa speciale di Macao della Repubblica popolare cinese di attuare quanto prima il sistema di certificazione del processo di Kimberley, è opportuno che il presente regolamento entri in vigore con urgenza il giorno successivo alla pubblicazione nella Gazzetta ufficiale dell’Unione europea, |
HA ADOTTATO IL PRESENTE REGOLAMENTO:
Articolo 1
L’allegato II del regolamento (CE) n. 2368/2002 è sostituito dal testo che figura nell’allegato del presente regolamento.
Articolo 2
Il presente regolamento entra in vigore il giorno successivo alla pubblicazione nella Gazzetta ufficiale dell’Unione europea.
Il presente regolamento è obbligatorio in tutti i suoi elementi e direttamente applicabile in ciascuno degli Stati membri.
