DECISION OF THE EEA JOINT COMMITTEE
No 25/2016
of 5 February 2016
amending Annex II (Technical regulations, standards, testing and certification) and Annex IV (Energy) to the EEA Agreement [2017/1308]
THE EEA JOINT COMMITTEE,
Having regard to the Agreement on the European Economic Area (‘the EEA Agreement’), and in particular Article 98 thereof,
Whereas:

(1) |
Commission Regulation (EU) 2015/1185 of 24 April 2015 implementing Directive 2009/125/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council with regard to ecodesign requirements for solid fuel local space heaters (1) is to be incorporated into the EEA Agreement. |

(2) |
Commission Regulation (EU) 2015/1189 of 28 April 2015 implementing Directive 2009/125/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council with regard to ecodesign requirements for solid fuel boilers (2) is to be incorporated into the EEA Agreement. |
|
(3) |
Annexes II and IV to the EEA Agreement should therefore be amended accordingly, |
HAS ADOPTED THIS DECISION:
Article 1
The following points are inserted after point 6l (Commission Regulation (EU) No 1253/2014) of Chapter IV of Annex II to the EEA Agreement:

Article 2
The following points are inserted after point 26m (Commission Regulation (EU) No 1253/2014) of Annex IV to the EEA Agreement:

Article 3
The texts of Regulations (EU) 2015/1185 and (EU) 2015/1189 in the Icelandic and Norwegian languages, to be published in the EEA Supplement to the Official Journal of the European Union, shall be authentic.
Article 4
This Decision shall enter into force on 6 February 2016, provided that all the notifications under Article 103(1) of the EEA Agreement have been made (*1).
Article 5
This Decision shall be published in the EEA Section of, and in the EEA Supplement to, the Official Journal of the European Union.
