DECISION OF THE EEA JOINT COMMITTEE
No 82/2015
of 30 April 2015
amending Annex I (Veterinary and phytosanitary matters) to the EEA Agreement [2016/1265]
THE EEA JOINT COMMITTEE,
Having regard to the Agreement on the European Economic Area (‘the EEA Agreement’), and in particular Article 98 thereof,
Whereas:
(1) |
Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2015/244 of 16 February 2015 concerning the authorisation of Quinoline Yellow as a feed additive for non food-producing animals (1) is to be incorporated into the EEA Agreement. |
(2) |
Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2015/264 of 18 February 2015 concerning the authorisation of neohesperidine dihydrochalcone as a feed additive for sheep, fish, dogs, calves and certain categories of pigs (2) is to be incorporated into the EEA Agreement. |
(3) |
This Decision concerns legislation regarding feedingstuffs. Legislation regarding feedingstuffs shall not apply to Liechtenstein as long as the application of the Agreement between the European Community and the Swiss Confederation on trade in agricultural products is extended to Liechtenstein, as specified in the sectoral adaptations to Annex I to the EEA Agreement. This Decision is therefore not to apply to Liechtenstein. |

Annex I to the EEA Agreement should therefore be amended accordingly, |
HAS ADOPTED THIS DECISION:
Article 1
The following points are inserted after point 125 (Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2015/47) of Chapter II of Annex I to the EEA Agreement:

32015 R 0244: Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2015/244 of 16 February 2015 concerning the authorisation of Quinoline Yellow as a feed additive for non food-producing animals (OJ L 41, 17.2.2015, p. 8). |

32015 R 0264: Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2015/264 of 18 February 2015 concerning the authorisation of neohesperidine dihydrochalcone as a feed additive for sheep, fish, dogs, calves and certain categories of pigs (OJ L 45, 19.2.2015, p. 10).’ |
Article 2
The texts of Implementing Regulations (EU) 2015/244 and (EU) No 2015/264 in the Icelandic and Norwegian languages, to be published in the EEA Supplement to the Official Journal of the European Union, shall be authentic.
Article 3
This Decision shall enter into force on 1 May 2015, provided that all the notifications under Article 103(1) of the EEA Agreement have been made (*1).
Article 4
This Decision shall be published in the EEA Section of, and in the EEA Supplement to, the Official Journal of the European Union.
