NÕUKOGU OTSUS,
1. jaanuar 2007,
Regioonide Komitee Bulgaaria ja Rumeenia liikmete ja asendusliikmete ametisse nimetamise kohta
(2007/6/EÜ)
EUROOPA LIIDU NÕUKOGU,
võttes arvesse Euroopa Ühenduse asutamislepingut, eriti selle artikli 263 neljandat lõiku,
võttes arvesse Bulgaaria Vabariigi ja Rumeenia ühinemisakti, eriti selle artikleid 13 ja 49,
võttes arvesse Bulgaaria Vabariigi ja Rumeenia valitsuse ettepanekuid,
ning arvestades järgmist:

Regioonide komitee liikmed ja asendusliikmed nimetati ametisse ajavahemikuks 26. jaanuarist 2006 kuni 25. jaanuarini 2010 nõukogu otsusega 2006/116/EÜ. (1) |

Pärast Bulgaaria Vabariigi ja Rumeenia Euroopa Liiduga ühinemist tuleks Regioonide Komiteed laiendada kahekümne seitsme liikme ja kahekümne seitsme asendusliikme nimetamisega, kes esindavad uute liikmesriikide regionaal- ja kohalikke organeid ning kellel on regionaal- või kohaliku organi mandaat või kes kannavad poliitilist vastutust valitud kogu ees, |
ON TEINUD JÄRGMISE OTSUSE:
Artikkel 1
Regioonide Komiteesse nimetatakse kuni 25. jaanuarini 2010 kestvaks ajavahemikuks:

liikmed, kelle nimekiri on liikmesriikide kaupa esitatud I lisas, |
|
— |
asendusliikmed, kelle nimekiri on liikmesriikide kaupa esitatud II lisas. |
Artikkel 2
Käesolev otsus jõustub selle vastuvõtmise kuupäeval.
Otsust kohaldatakse alates 1. jaanuarist 2007.
