Komisjoni määrus (EÜ) nr 913/2004,

29. aprill 2004,

millega muudetakse nõukogu määrust (EÜ) 2368/2002 Kimberley protsessi sertifitseerimissüsteemi rakendamise kohta töötlemata teemantide rahvusvahelises kaubanduses

EUROOPA ÜHENDUSTE KOMISJON,

võttes arvesse Euroopa Ühenduse asutamislepingut,

võttes arvesse nõukogu määrust (EÜ) nr 2368/2002 Kimberley protsessi sertifitseerimissüsteemi rakendamise kohta töötlemata teemantide rahvusvahelises kaubanduses, [1] viimati muudetud komisjoni määrusega (EÜ) nr 657/2004, [2] eriti selle artiklit 20,

ning arvestades järgmist:

(1) Määruse (EÜ) nr 2368/2002 artikliga 20 on ette nähtud II lisas esitatud Kimberley protsessi sertifitseerimissüsteemi osaliste nimekirja muutmine.

(2) Tšehhi Vabariik, Ungari, Poola ja Sloveenia on loetletud II lisa nimekirjas kui Kimberley protsessi sertifitseerimissüsteemi osalised.

(3) Silmas pidades nende ühinemist Euroopa Liiduga 1. mail 2004, lõpeb Tšehhi Vabariigi, Ungari, Poola ja Sloveenia iseseisev osalemine Kimberley protsessi sertifitseerimissüsteemis 30. aprillil 2004 ja nad tuleks seega nimekirjast välja arvata. Seepärast tuleks II lisa vastavalt muuta,

ON VASTU VÕTNUD KÄESOLEVA MÄÄRUSE:

Artikkel 1

Määruse (EÜ) nr 2368/2002 II lisa asendatakse käesoleva määruse lisaga.

Artikkel 2

Käesolev määrus jõustub Euroopa Liidu Teatajas avaldamise päeval.

Määrust kohaldatakse alates 1. maist 2004.

Käesolev määrus on tervikuna siduv ja vahetult kohaldatav kõikides liikmesriikides.
