COUNCIL DECISION

of 29 March 1996

on the replacement of certain members and alternate members of the European Social Fund Committee

THE COUNCIL OF THE EUROPEAN UNION,

Having regard to the Treaty establishing the European Community,

Having regard to Council Regulation (EEC) No 4253/88 of 19 December 1988 laying down provisions for implementing Regulation (EEC) No 2052/88 as regards coordination of the activities of the different Structural Funds between themselves and with the operations of the European Investment Bank and the other existing financial instruments (1), and in particular Article 28, third paragraph, thereof,

Having regard to the proposal from the Commission,

Whereas the Council, acting on a proposal from the Commission, in a Decision of 23 October 1995 (2) appointed the members and alternate members of the European Social Fund Committee for the period ending on 22 October 1998;

Whereas three members' seats and two alternate members' seats, filled by government representatives, have fallen vacant;

Whereas one member's seat and one alternate member's seat, filled by employers' representatives, have fallen vacant;

Whereas members and alternate members of the European Social Fund Committee should be appointed to fill the vacant seats,

HAS DECIDED AS FOLLOWS:

Article 1

The following are hereby appointed members and altenate members of the European Social Fund Committee for the remainder of their current term of office, which runs until 22 October 1998:

Article 2
