DECISIÓN DEL CONSEJO
de 1 de enero de 2007
por la que se nombran miembros búlgaros y rumanos del Comité Económico y Social Europeo
(2007/3/CE, Euratom)
EL CONSEJO DE LA UNIÓN EUROPEA,
Visto el Tratado constitutivo de la Comunidad Europea y, en particular, su artículo 259,
Visto el Tratado constitutivo de la Comunidad Europea de la Energía Atómica y, en particular, su artículo 167,
Vista el Acta relativa de adhesión de Bulgaria y de Rumanía y, en particular, sus artículos 12 y 48,
Vistas las propuestas de los Gobiernos de la República de Bulgaria y de Rumanía,
Visto el dictamen de la Comisión,
Considerando lo siguiente:

Mediante las Decisiones 2006/524/CE, Euratom (1), 2006/651/CE, Euratom (2) y 2006/703/CE, Euratom (3) del Consejo se nombró a los miembros del Comité Económico y Social Europeo para el período comprendido entre el 21 de septiembre de 2006 y el 20 de septiembre de 2010. |

A raíz de la adhesión de la República de Bulgaria y de Rumanía a la Unión Europea, procede completar el Comité Económico y Social Europeo mediante el nombramiento de 27 miembros, en representación de los diferentes componentes de carácter económico y social de la sociedad civil. |
DECIDE:
Artículo 1
Se nombra miembros del Comité Económico y Social Europeo, para el período comprendido hasta el 20 de septiembre de 2010, a las personas cuyos nombres y cargos figuran en las listas adjuntas a la presente Decisión.
Artículo 2
La presente Decisión surtirá efecto el día de su adopción.
Será aplicable a partir del 1 de enero de 2007.
Hecho en Bruselas, el 1 de enero de 2007.
