Artículo 172
(antiguo artículo 156 TCE)
El Parlamento Europeo y el Consejo, previa consulta al Comité Económico y Social y al Comité de las Regiones, adoptarán con arreglo al procedimiento legislativo ordinario las orientaciones y las restantes medidas previstas en el apartado 1 del artículo 171.
Las orientaciones y proyectos de interés común relativos al territorio de un Estado miembro requerirán la aprobación del Estado miembro de que se trate.
