- Initiative summary:
- The New Pact on Migration and Asylum has announced a strategy on sustainable voluntary return and reintegration to set out a new approach to the design, promotion and implementation of Member States’ schemes for assisted voluntary return and reintegration schemes, for an increased take-up of voluntary return by irregular migrants. It will also look at increasing the effectiveness and sustainability for reintegration actions in third countries.
