COMMISSION IMPLEMENTING REGULATION (EU) 2021/790
of 10 May 2021
entering a name in the register of protected designations of origin and protected geographical indications (‘Pesca di Delia’ (PGI))
THE EUROPEAN COMMISSION,
Having regard to the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union,
Having regard to Regulation (EU) No 1151/2012 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 21 November 2012 on quality schemes for agricultural products and foodstuffs (1), and in particular Article 52(2) thereof,
Whereas:

Pursuant to Article 50(2)(a) of Regulation (EU) No 1151/2012, Italy’s application to register the name ‘Pesca di Delia’ was published in the Official Journal of the European Union (2). |
(2) |
As no statement of opposition under Article 51 of Regulation (EU) No 1151/2012 has been received by the Commission, the name ‘Pesca di Delia’ should therefore be entered in the register, |
HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION:
Article 1
The name ‘Pesca di Delia’ (PGI) is hereby entered in the register.
The name specified in the first paragraph denotes a product in Class 1.6. – Fruit, vegetables and cereals, fresh or processed, as listed in Annex XI to Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) No 668/2014 (3).
Article 2
This Regulation shall enter into force on the twentieth day following that of its publication in the Official Journal of the European Union.
This Regulation shall be binding in its entirety and directly applicable in all Member States.

approving non-minor amendments to the specification for a name entered in the register of protected designations of origin and protected geographical indications
(‘Aischgründer Karpfen’ (PGI))
THE EUROPEAN COMMISSION,
Having regard to the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union,
Having regard to Regulation (EU) No 1151/2012 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 21 November 2012 on quality schemes for agricultural products and foodstuffs (1), and in particular Article 52(2) thereof,
Whereas:

Pursuant to the first subparagraph of Article 53(1) of Regulation (EU) No 1151/2012, the Commission has examined Germany’s application for the approval of amendments to the specification for the protected geographical indication ‘Aischgründer Karpfen’, registered under Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) No 1096/2012 (2). |
(2) |
Since the amendments in question are not minor within the meaning of Article 53(2) of Regulation (EU) No 1151/2012, the Commission published the amendment application in the Official Journal of the European Union (3) as required by Article 50(2)(a) of that Regulation. |
(3) |
As no statement of opposition under Article 51 of Regulation (EU) No 1151/2012 has been received by the Commission, the amendments to the specification should be approved, |
HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION:
Article 1
The amendments to the specification published in the Official Journal of the European Union regarding the name ‘Aischgründer Karpfen’ (PGI) are hereby approved.
Article 2
This Regulation shall enter into force on the twentieth day following that of its publication in the Official Journal of the European Union.
This Regulation shall be binding in its entirety and directly applicable in all Member States.

COUNCIL DECISION (EU) 2021/792
of 6 May 2021
on the position to be taken on behalf of the European Union within the Joint Committee on Organic Products established by the Agreement between the European Union and the Republic of Chile on trade in organic products as regards the adoption of the rules of procedure of the Joint Committee on Organic Products
THE COUNCIL OF THE EUROPEAN UNION,
Having regard to the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union, and in particular the first subparagraph of Article 207(4) in conjunction with Article 218(9) thereof,
Having regard to the proposal from the European Commission,
Whereas:

The Agreement between the European Union and the Republic of Chile on trade in organic products (the ‘Agreement’) was concluded by the Union by Council Decision (EU) 2017/2307 (1) and entered into force on 1 January 2018. |
(2) |
Article 8 of the Agreement establishes a Joint Committee on Organic Products (the ‘Joint Committee’) to manage the Agreement and take decisions for the implementation and good functioning of the Agreement. Pursuant to paragraph 5 of that Article, the Joint Committee is to adopt its own rules of procedure. |
(3) |
It is appropriate to establish the position to be taken on behalf of the European Union within the Joint Committee as regards its rules of procedure, as those rules will be binding on the Union. |
(4) |
The position of the Union within the Joint Committee should be based on the draft decision of the Joint Committee, |
HAS ADOPTED THIS DECISION:
Article 1
The position to be taken on behalf of the European Union within the Joint Committee on Organic Products established by the Agreement between the European Union and the Republic of Chile on trade in organic products as regards the adoption of its rules of procedure shall be based on the draft decision of the Joint Committee on Organic Products (2).
Article 2
This Decision shall enter into force on the date of its adoption.
