Notice concerning the anti-dumping measures in force in respect of imports into the Union of lever arch mechanisms originating in the People’s Republic of China: change of name of one company subject to an individual anti-dumping duty rate
(2017/C 101/08)
Imports of lever arch mechanisms originating in the People’s Republic of China are subject to a definitive anti-dumping duty imposed by Council Regulation (EC) No 1136/2006 (1) (‘Original Regulation’) and extended by the Council Implementing Regulation (EU) No 796/2012 (2).
Dongguan Nanzha Leco Stationary, TARIC (the integrated Tariff of the European Union) additional code A729, a company subject to an individual anti-dumping duty rate of 27,1 %, informed the Commission that it has changed its name into DongGuan Humen Nanzha World Wide Stationery Mfg. Co., Ltd.
The company asked the Commission to confirm that the change of name does not affect the right of the company to benefit from the individual duty rate applied to the company under its previous name.
The Commission has examined the information supplied and concluded that the change of name in no way affects the findings of Implementing Regulation (EU) No 796/2012.
Therefore, the reference in Article 1 paragraph 2 of Implementing Regulation (EU) No 796/2012 to:
|
‘Dongguan Nanzha Leco Stationary The First Industrial Camp, Nanzha, Humen, Dongguan, China |
A729’ |
should be read as:
|
‘DongGuan Humen Nanzha World Wide Stationery Mfg. Co., Ltd |
A729’ |
The TARIC additional code A729 previously attributed to Dongguan Nanzha Leco Stationary The First Industrial Camp, Nanzha, Humen, Dongguan, China shall apply to DongGuan Humen Nanzha World Wide Stationery Mfg. Co., Ltd.

Prior notification of a concentration
(Case M.8417 — KKR/Travelopia)
Candidate case for simplified procedure
(Text with EEA relevance)
(2017/C 101/09)
|
1. |
On 24 March 2017, the Commission received notification of a proposed concentration pursuant to Article 4 of Council Regulation (EC) No 139/2004 (1) by which the undertaking KKR & Co. L.P. (‘KKR’, United States) acquires within the meaning of Article 3(1)(b) of the Merger Regulation sole control over Travelopia Holdings Limited and Travelopia USA Inc. (together ‘Travelopia’, United Kingdom), by way of purchase of shares. |
|
2. |
The business activities of the undertakings concerned are: — for KKR: global investment firm which offers a broad range of alternative asset management services and provides capital markets solutions, — for Travelopia: global specialist travel operator active primarily in the United States, the United Kingdom and Australia. Travelopia specialises in six travel offerings: (i) expeditions; (ii) tailor-made holidays; (iii) marine holidays; (iv) educational trips; (v) US-specific customised holidays; and (vi) events based holidays. |
|
3. |
On preliminary examination, the Commission finds that the notified transaction could fall within the scope of the Merger Regulation. However, the final decision on this point is reserved. Pursuant to the Commission Notice on a simplified procedure for treatment of certain concentrations under Council Regulation (EC) No 139/2004 (2) it should be noted that this case is a candidate for treatment under the procedure set out in this Notice. |
|
4. |
The Commission invites interested third parties to submit their possible observations on the proposed operation to the Commission.
