correcting the Polish language version of Implementing Regulation (EU) 2024/2174 laying down rules for the application of Regulation (EU) 2024/573 of the European Parliament and of the Council as regards the format of the labels for certain products and equipment containing fluorinated greenhouse gases

THE EUROPEAN COMMISSION,

Having regard to the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union,

Having regard to Regulation (EU) 2024/573 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 7 February 2024 on fluorinated greenhouse gases, amending Directive (EU) 2019/1937 and repealing Regulation (EU) No 517/2014 (1), and in particular Article 12(17) thereof,

Whereas:

(1)	The Polish language version of Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2024/2174 (2) contains an error in Article 1(11) as regards the use of the method of providing information laid down in paragraph 10 of that Article. The error alters the meaning of the provision, affecting its substance.

(2)	The Polish language version of Implementing Regulation (EU) 2024/2174 should therefore be corrected accordingly. The other language versions are not affected.

(3)

Due to the fact that the correction would not be actively taking away any rights or imposing any obligations and in view of the overarching interest to safeguard uniform application of Union law, it is appropriate that the correction becomes applicable on the date of application of Implementing Regulation (EU) 2024/2174.

(4)	The measures provided for in this Regulation are in accordance with the opinion of the committee on fluorinated greenhouse gases, delivered prior to the adoption of Implementing Regulation (EU) 2024/2174,

HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION:

Article 1

Article 2

This Regulation shall enter into force on the twentieth day following that of its publication in the Official Journal of the European Union.

It shall apply from 1 January 2025.

This Regulation shall be binding in its entirety and directly applicable in all Member States.
