COMMISSION IMPLEMENTING REGULATION (EU) 2025/182

of 31 January 2025

correcting Implementing Regulation (EU) 2019/901 to correct the chemical formula of riboflavin 5′-phosphate monosodium salt

THE EUROPEAN COMMISSION,

Having regard to the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union,

Having regard to Regulation (EC) No 1831/2003 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 22 September 2003 on additives for use in animal nutrition (1), and in particular Article 9(2) thereof,

Whereas:

The substance riboflavin 5′-phosphate monosodium salt produced with Bacillus subtilis (DSM 17339 and/or DSM 23984) was authorised as a feed additive for all animal species by Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2019/901 (2) for 10 years.

(2)

However, the chemical formula in the characterisation of the active substance is not correct and needs to be replaced by the valid formula.

(3)

The measures provided for in this Regulation are in accordance with the opinion of the Standing Committee on Plants, Animals, Food and Feed,

HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION:

Article 1

Correction to Implementing Regulation (EU) 2019/901

In the Annex to Implementing Regulation (EU) 2019/901, identification number 3a 826, fourth column ‘Composition, chemical formula, description, analytical method’, the formula ‘C17H22N4O9Pna’ is replaced by the formula ‘C17H20N4O9Pna’.

Article 2

Entry into force

This Regulation shall enter into force on the twentieth day following that of its publication in the Official Journal of the European Union

This Regulation shall be binding in its entirety and directly applicable in all Member States.
