Corrigendum to Commission Implementing Decision (EU) 2024/2974 of 29 November 2024 establishing the best available techniques (BAT) conclusions, under Directive 2010/75/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council on industrial emissions, for the smitheries and foundries industry

On page 44, in Table 1.8, footnotes:

organic binder systems generating low or no emissions of substances classified as CMR 1A, CMR 1B or CMR 2 (see techniques (d), (e) and/or (f) in BAT 25) are used in core-making; |

(b) |
one or both of the following conditions are met:

The BAT-AEL only applies in the cold-box process when amines are used. |

The BAT-AEL only applies when aromatic binders/chemicals are used. |

The BAT-AEL only applies when the substance concerned is identified as relevant in the waste gas streams based on the inventory of inputs and outputs mentioned in BAT 2. |
