DECISION OF THE EEA JOINT COMMITTEE No 40/2021
of 5 February 2021
amending Annex II (Technical regulations, standards, testing and certification) and Annex IV (Energy) to the EEA Agreement [2024/8]
THE EEA JOINT COMMITTEE,
Having regard to the Agreement on the European Economic Area (“the EEA Agreement”), and in particular Article 98 thereof,
Whereas:

Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2020/1059 of 27 April 2020 correcting certain language versions of Delegated Regulations (EU) No 1059/2010, (EU) No 1060/2010, (EU) No 1061/2010, (EU) No 1062/2010, (EU) No 626/2011, (EU) No 392/2012 and (EU) No 874/2012 with regard to the labelling of certain energy-related products (1) is to be incorporated into the EEA Agreement. |

Annexes II and IV to the EEA Agreement should therefore be amended accordingly, |
HAS ADOPTED THIS DECISION:
Article 1
The following indent is added in points 4c (Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) No 392/2012), 4e (Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) No 874/2012), 4i (Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) No 1059/2010), 4j (Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) No 1060/2010), 4k (Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) No 1061/2010), 4l (Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) No 1062/2010) and 4m (Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) No 626/2011) of Chapter IV of Annex II to the EEA Agreement:

Article 2
The following indent is added in points 11c (Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) No 392/2012), 11e (Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) No 874/2012), 11i (Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) No 1059/2010), 11j (Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) No 1060/2010), 11k (Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) No 1061/2010), 11l (Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) No 1062/2010) and 11m (Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) No 626/2011) of Annex IV to the EEA Agreement:

Article 3
The text of Delegated Regulation (EU) 2020/1059 in the Icelandic and Norwegian languages, to be published in the EEA Supplement to the Official Journal of the European Union, shall be authentic.
Article 4
This Decision shall enter into force on 6 February 2021, provided that all the notifications under Article 103(1) of the EEA Agreement have been made (*1).
Article 5
This Decision shall be published in the EEA Section of, and in the EEA Supplement to, the Official Journal of the European Union.
