COMMISSION DECISION
of 4 January 2017
on public holidays for 2018 for the institutions of the European Union

THE EUROPEAN COMMISSION,
Having regard to the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union,
Having regard to the Staff Regulations of Officials of the European Union and the Conditions of Employment of Other Servants of the European Union (CEOS), laid down by Council Regulation (EEC, Euratom, ECSC) No 259/68 (1) and in particular Article 61 thereof and Articles 16 and 91 of the CEOS,
Having regard to the joint rules establishing the list of public holidays of officials of the European Communities, and in particular Article 1(3) thereof,
Whereas:

The list of public holidays in 2018 for staff in Brussels and Luxembourg should be adopted pursuant to Article 61 of the Staff Regulations of Officials of the European Union and Articles 16 and 91 of the CEOS. |

(2) |
In 2018, Easter Sunday falls on 1 April. |
|
(3) |
In 2018, 24 December falls on a Monday. |
|
(4) |
On 12 October 2016, the Heads of Administration were consulted for their opinion on the list of public holidays for 2018, |

The amounts to be refunded with regard to benefits in kind provided in 2015 to pensioners and members of their family, as provided for in Article 24(1) and Articles 25 and 26 of Regulation (EC) No 883/2004, will be determined on the basis of the following average costs:

(2) With respect to Article 64(7) of Regulation (EC) No 987/2009, Member States may continue to apply Articles 94 and 95 of Regulation (EEC) No 574/72 for the calculation of the fixed amount until 1 May 2015.

Calls for proposals under the work programme for grants in the field of the trans-European telecommunication networks under the Connecting Europe Facility for the period 2014-2020
(Commission Implementing Decision C(2017) 696)

The European Commission, Directorate-General for Communications Networks, Content and Technology, is hereby launching four calls for proposals in order to award grants to projects in accordance with the priorities and objectives defined in the 2017 Work Programme in the field of the trans-European telecommunication networks under the Connecting Europe Facility for the period 2014-2020.
Proposals are invited for the following four calls:
CEF-TC-2017-1: Business Registers Interconnection System (BRIS)
CEF-TC-2017-1: eIdentification & eSignature
CEF-TC-2017-1: Electronic Exchange of Social Security Information (EESSI)
CEF-TC-2017-1: European e-Justice Portal
The total indicative budget available for proposals selected under these calls is EUR 27,5 million.
The deadline for the submission of proposals is 18 May 2017.
