Ao abrigo da Decisão 376/2014/UE do Conselho, de 21 de junho de 2014 (JO L 182 de 21.6.2014, p. 1), adotada com base no artigo 349.o do Tratado sobre o Funcionamento da União Europeia (TFUE), em derrogação do artigo 110.o do TFUE, Portugal é autorizado a aplicar, na Região Autónoma da Madeira, uma taxa reduzida do imposto especial sobre o consumo de rum e licores produzidos e consumidos a nível local e, na Região Autónoma dos Açores, de licores e aguardentes produzidos e consumidos a nível local, que pode ser inferior à taxa mínima do imposto especial sobre o consumo fixada pela Diretiva 92/84/CEE do Conselho, mas não inferior em mais de 75 % à taxa nacional normal do imposto especial sobre o consumo de álcool. A presente decisão é aplicável de 1 de julho de 2014 até 31 de dezembro de 2020. |
