Non-opposition to a notified concentration

(Case M.7339 — AbbVie/SHIRE)

On 16 October 2014, the Commission decided not to oppose the above notified concentration and to declare it compatible with the internal market. This decision is based on Article 6(1)(b) of Council Regulation (EC) No 139/2004 (1). On 5 November 2014, the Commission decided not to oppose the above notified concentration and to declare it compatible with the internal market. New national side of euro coins intended for circulation

National side of the new commemorative 2-euro coin intended for circulation and issued by Spain

Euro coins intended for circulation have legal tender status throughout the euro area. For the purpose of informing the public and all parties who handle the coins, the Commission publishes a description of the designs of all new coins (1). In accordance with the Council conclusions of 10 February 2009 (2), euro-area Member States and countries that have concluded a monetary agreement with the European Union providing for the issuing of euro coins are allowed to issue commemorative euro coins intended for circulation, provided that certain conditions are met, particularly that only the 2-euro denomination is used. These coins have the same technical characteristics as other 2-euro coins, but their national face features a commemorative design that is highly symbolic in national or European terms.

Issuing country : Spain

Subject of commemoration : Unesco’s World Cultural and Natural Heritage Sites — Cave of Altamira

Description of the design : The design depicts in the foreground the bison painting from the Cave of Altamira located in Cantabria. In the upper side of the image, in circular sense and with capital letters, the word ‘ESPAÑA’, at the bottom the year of issuance ‘2015’ and at the right the mint mark.

The coin’s outer ring depicts the 12 stars of the European flag.

National side of the new commemorative 2-euro coin intended for circulation and issued by Finland

Euro coins intended for circulation have legal tender status throughout the euro area. For the purpose of informing the public and all parties who handle the coins, the Commission publishes a description of the designs of all new coins (1). Subject of commemoration : The 100th Anniversary of the birth of designer and interior designer Ilmari Tapiovaara.

Description of the design : The left inner part of the design shows Ilmari Tapiovaara’s name and years. The right inner part of the design depicts a close-up from the furniture fitting characteristic for Ilmari Tapiovaara. At the right the indication of the issuing country ‘FI’, the mint mark and the year of issuance ‘2014’.

The coin’s outer ring depicts the 12 stars of the European flag.

The publication of model cards issued by the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Member States to accredited members of diplomatic missions and consular representations and members of their families, as referred to in Article 19(2) of Regulation (EC) No 562/2006 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 15 March 2006 establishing a Community Code on the rules governing the movement of persons across borders (Schengen Borders Code) (1) is based on the information communicated by the Member States to the Commission in conformity with Article 34 of the Schengen Borders Code.

Additional information

General features of all cards issued by Estonia:

Diplomatic and service cards will become the only legal basis for residence in Estonia for the personnel accredited in Estonia of diplomatic representations, consular establishments, or representations of international organisations.

A diplomatic or service card issued as of 1 October 2010 entitles the bearer together with a passport, to enter and travel within the territory of the Schengen States.

The diplomatic and service cards issued prior to 1 October 2010 remain valid until the date indicated on the card, being the legal basis for residency in Estonia along with a valid diplomatic or service visa, and will not be changed to new ones at this time.

Technical description of all cards issued by Estonia:

Diplomatic and service card is a plastic card with rounded corners, dimensions 85 × 54 mm

The data on the front side of the diplomatic and service card is the following:

title of the card (Estonian diplomatic or service card)

serial number

name of the embassy

name of the bearer

date of birth

position of the bearer

photo

signature of the bearer

The reverse side contains the following data:

extent of the immunity

information about legal basis for residence in Estonia

issuing authority (Ministry of Foreign Affairs, State Protocol Department, phone)

valid until

Estonian Foreign Ministry shall issue the following diplomatic and service cards:

(1)

to head of mission and his family members thereof an A-series diplomatic card (blue);

(2)

to diplomat and his family members thereof a B-series diplomatic card (blue);

(3)

to administrative employee and his family members thereof a C-series service card (red);

(4)

to service staff and their family members thereof a D-series service card (green);

(5)

to private servants an E-series service card (green);

(6)

to an Estonian citizen and a permanent resident working in a foreign mission an F-series service card (green);

(7)

to an honorary consul of a foreign country an HC-series service card (grey);

(8)

a G-series service card to a member of staff of an international organisation or other institution and his/her family members;

Family members are the following dependants of a diplomat and sharing a common household with him/her:

(1)

spouse;

(2)

an unmarried child of up to 21 years of age;

(3)

an unmarried child of up to 23 years of age, studying in a higher educational institution in Estonia;

(4)

another family member in special cases.

A diplomatic and service card shall not be issued if the assignment period is shorter than six (6) months.

Service cards are not issued to administrative employees of the foreign mission residing outside Estonia.
