Interested companies may, within 90 days of the publication of this notice, submit a competing application in accordance with the procedure summarised in the ‘Notice regarding the granting of mining rights for hydrocarbons in France’ published in Official Journal of the European Communities C 374 of 30 December 1994, page 11, and established by Decree No 2006-648 of 2 June 2006 (as amended) concerning mining rights and underground storage rights (Official Journal of the French Republic, 3 June 2006).

Competing applications must be sent to the Ministry of Ecology, Sustainable Development and Energy at the address given below. Decisions on the initial application and any competing applications will be taken within two years of the date on which the French authorities received the initial application, i.e. by 25 November 2015.

Call for expression of interest in participating in the Management and Implementation levels of the SESAR Deployment governance

The European Commission, Directorate General for Mobility and Transport, is launching a call for expression of interest to identify operational stakeholders from the ATM sector that are potentially interested in participating in the Management level (the Deployment Manager) and Implementation level of the SESAR deployment governance, in accordance with the Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) No 409/2013 of 3 May 2013 on the definition of common projects, the establishment of governance and the identification of incentives supporting the implementation of the European Air Traffic Management Master Plan.

Please note that this call is not for fully developed proposals and is not a pre-requisite for participation in the future formal Call for proposals for the establishment of the Deployment Manager and the Implementation Level. The business activities of the undertakings concerned are:

for Société Générale: retail banking, corporate and investment banking, private banking, asset management, securities services,

for Newedge: brokerage and clearing services for listed and OTC derivatives and securities.

On preliminary examination, the Commission finds that the notified transaction could fall within the scope of the Merger Regulation. However, the final decision on this point is reserved. Pursuant to the Commission Notice on a simplified procedure for treatment of certain concentrations under Council Regulation (EC) No 139/2004 (2), it should be noted that this case is a candidate for treatment under the procedure set out in the Notice.

for GDF SUEZ: active throughout the entire energy value chain in the fields of gas, electricity and energy services,

for Groupe Crédit Agricole: offers a range of banking and insurance services. It is also active in the real estate sector,

for Omnes Capital: it is a French asset management company active in several branches of private equity, amongst them in the renewable energy sector,

for FEIH: active in the generation of electricity by wind farms via its subsidiary Futures Energies Investissements SAS. FEIH is currently indirectly wholly-owned by GDF SUEZ.
