Communication from the Commission concerning the quantity not applied for to be added to the quantity fixed for the subperiod 1 January to 31 March 2014 under certain quotas opened by the European Union for poultrymeat products
2013/C 240/01
Commission Regulation (EC) No 616/2007 (1) opened tariff quotas for imports of products in the poultrymeat sector. The applications for import licences lodged during the first seven days of July 2013 for the subperiod 1 October to 31 December 2013 do not, for quotas 09.4212, 09.4217, 09.4218 and 09.4256, cover the quantities available. Pursuant to the second sentence of Article 7(4) of Commission Regulation (EC) No 1301/2006 (2), the quantities that were not applied for are to be added to the quantity fixed for the following quota subperiod, from 1 January to 31 March 2014; they are set out in the Annex to this notice.

Notification of the Czech Republic Government pursuant to Article 10(2) of Directive 2009/72/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council (‘Electricity Directive’) concerning common rules for the internal market in electricity regarding the designation of ČEPS, a. s. as transmission system operator in the Czech Republic — Electricity TSO

Following the Czech Republic regulatory authority's final decision of 7 December 2012 regarding the certification of ČEPS, a. s. as ownership unbundled transmission system operator (Article 9 of the Electricity Directive), the Czech Republic has notified to the Commission the official approval and designation of this company as a transmission system operator operating in the Czech Republic in accordance with Article 10 of the Electricity Directive.

Following the Czech Republic regulatory authority's final decision of 28 January 2013 regarding the certification of NET4GAS s.r.o. as independent transmission operator (Chapter IV of the Gas Directive), the Czech Republic has notified to the Commission the official approval and designation of this company as a transmission system operator operating in the Czech Republic in accordance with Article 10 of the Gas Directive.

Following the Swedish regulatory authority's final decision of 13 July 2012 regarding the certification of Affärsverket svenska kraftnät as ownership unbundled transmission system operator (Article 9 of the Electricity Directive), the national regulatory authority (the Energy Market Inspectorate) has notified to the Commission the official approval and designation of this company as a transmission system operator operating in Sweden in accordance with Article 10 of the Electricity Directive on 3 September 2012.

Notification of the Swedish Government pursuant to Article 10(2) of Directive 2009/73/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council (‘Gas Directive’) concerning common rules for the internal market in natural gas regarding the designation of Swedegas AB as transmission system operator in Sweden — Gas TSO

Following the Swedish regulatory authority's final decision of 6 July 2012 regarding the certification of Swedegas AB as ownership unbundled transmission system operator (Article 9 of the Gas Directive), the national regulatory authority (the Energy Market Inspectorate) has notified to the Commission the official approval and designation of this company as a transmission system operator operating in Sweden in accordance with Article 10 of the Gas Directive on 3 September 2012.
In addition, on 7 February 2013 the Energy Market Inspectorate notified the preliminary decision concerning Affärsverket svenska kraftnät acting as a separate entity according to Article 1, last indent, of Regulation (EC) No 715/2009. However, as of 1 June 2013, Affärsverket svenska kraftnät no longer has any functions with regard to the transmission of natural gas.

Following the Republic of Latvia regulatory authority’s final decision of 30 January 2013 regarding the certification of Augstsprieguma tīkls AS as independent system operator (Article 13 of the Electricity Directive), the Republic of Latvia has notified to the Commission the official approval and designation of this company as a transmission system operator operating in the Republic of Latvia in accordance with Article 10 of the Electricity Directive.
