Import licences which were allocated for the second half of 2012 for certain quotas referred to in Commission Regulation (EC) No 2535/2001 (1) did not cover the full quantity available under those quotas. The remaining quantities are laid out in the Annex. They will be available as of 1 January until 30 June 2013.

The publication of reference amounts for the crossing of the external borders, as referred to in Article 5(3) of Regulation (EC) No 562/2006 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 15 March 2006 establishing a Community Code on the rules governing the movement of persons across borders (Schengen Borders Code) (1), is based on the information communicated by the Member States to the Commission in accordance with Article 34 of the Schengen Borders Code.

In addition to the publication in the Official Journal, a monthly update is available on the website of the Directorate-General for Home Affairs.

LATVIA

Replacement of the information published in OJ C 247, 13.10.2006

According to the Immigration Law, in order to be able to enter and stay in the Republic of Latvia an alien must prove that he or she has the necessary means of subsistence.

The amount required is no less than LVL 10 per day of stay.

Where it is indicated in the electronic database of invitations, or on the form ‘Ielūgums vīzas pieprāšanai/Invitation for requesting a visa’ laid down by the Office of Citizenship and Migration Affairs, that the host will cover the expenses related to the alien’s entry and stay in Latvia, the alien does not have to submit the documents proving the availability of the necessary means of subsistence.

If necessary, the alien must show that he or she possesses financial resources sufficient to pay for the planned accommodation and/or, if travelling with a private vehicle, financial resources sufficient to buy the fuel needed for the journey.

The publication of the list of residence permits referred to in Article 2(15) of Regulation (EC) No 562/2006 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 15 March 2006 establishing a Community Code on the rules governing the movement of persons across borders (Schengen Borders Code) (1) is based on the information communicated by the Member States to the Commission in conformity with Article 34 of the Schengen Borders Code.

In addition to publication in the Official Journal, a monthly update is available on the website of the Directorate-General for Home Affairs.

BELGIUM

Replacement of the list published in OJ C 201, 8.7.2011

1.   Residence permits issued according to the uniform format

Carte A: Certificat d’inscription au registre des étrangers — séjour temporaire

A kaart: Bewijs van inschrijving in het vreemdelingenregister — tijdelijk verblijf

A Karte: Bescheinigung der Eintragung im Ausländerregister — Vorübergehender Aufenthalt

(A card: certificate of inscription in the aliens' register — temporary stay: this is an electronic card, issued since 2007 and replaces the white certificate of inscription in the aliens' register. Type of stay: temporary. The card itself has the same validity as the allowed stay.)

Carte B: Certificat d’inscription au registre des étrangers

B kaart: Bewijs van inschrijving in het vreemdelingenregister

B Karte: Bescheinigung der Eintragung im Ausländerregister

(B card: certificate of inscription in the aliens' register — permanent stay. This is an electronic card, issued since 2007 and replaces the white certificate of inscription in the aliens' register. Type of stay: permanent. The card itself has a validity of 5 years.)

D Karte: Langfristige Aufenthaltsberechtigung — EG

(D card: long-term resident's EC residence permit, issued in accordance with Directive 2003/109/EC concerning the status of third-country nationals who are long-term residents. It is an electronic card. Type of stay: permanent. The card has a validity of 5 years.)

Carte H: Carte bleue européenne

H kaart: Europese blauwe kaart

H Karte: Blaue Karte EU

(H card, EU Blue Card, issued pursuant to Article 7 of Directive 2009/50/EC on the conditions of entry and residence of third-country nationals for the purposes of highly qualified employment. It is an electronic card. Type of residence: limited duration. The card itself is valid for 13 months in the first 2 years, and thereafter for a period of 3 years.)

2.   All other documents issued to third-country nationals having equivalent value to a residence permit

Carte F: Carte de séjour de membre de la famille d’un citoyen de l’Union

F kaart: Verblijfskaart van een familielid van een burger van de Unie

B category ID cards are issued to the administrative and technical staff of the mission; on the reverse side there is a text that the holder enjoys partial privileges and immunities for administrative and technical staff as specified in Article 37(2) of the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations: ‘Šīs apliecības uzrādītājs bauda daļējas privilēģijas un imunitātes, kas paredzētas administratīvajiem un tehniskajiem darbiniekiem saskaņā ar 1961. gada 18. aprīļa Vīnes konvencijas “Par diplomātiskajām attiecībām” 37. panta 2. punktu’.

C category ID card — for the staff of international organisations (white in colour)

C category ID cards are issued to the staff of international organisations and their family members; on the reverse there is a text that the holder of this card enjoys privileges and immunities in accordance with the Agreement between the Republic of Latvia and the respective international organisation: ‘Šīs apliecības uzrādītājs bauda privilēģijas un imunitātes, kas paredzētas līgumā starp Latvijas Republiku un attiecīgo starptautisko organizāciju’.

D category ID card — for career consular office staff (blue in colour)

D category ID cards are issued to the career consular officers of the consular mission; on the reverse side there is a text that the holder of this card enjoys all the privileges and immunities under the Vienna Convention on Consular Relations: ‘Šīs apliecības uzrādītājs bauda visas privilēģijas un imunitātes, kas paredzētas 1963. gada 24. aprīļa Vīnes konvencijā “Par konsulārajām attiecībām” ’

F category ID cards (green in colour) — there are two kinds of cards

F category ID cards are issued to the service staff of the mission; on the reverse side there is a text that the holder enjoys partial privileges and immunities for service staff as specified in Article 37(3) of the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations: ‘Šīs apliecības uzrādītājs bauda daļējas privilēģijas un imunitātes, kas paredzētas vēstniecību apkalpojošam personālam saskaņā ar 1961. gada 18. aprīļa Vīnes konvencijas “Par diplomātiskajām attiecībām” 37. panta 3. punktu’.
