Having regard to Council Regulation (EEC) No 337/75 of 10 February 1975 establishing the European Centre for the Development of Vocational Training, and in particular Article 4 thereof (1),
Having regard to the nomination submitted by the Bulgarian Government,
Whereas:

By its Decision of 14 September 2009 (2), the Council appointed the members of the Governing Board of the European Centre for the Development of Vocational Training for the period from 18 September 2009 to 17 September 2012. |

A member's seat on the Governing Board of the Centre in the category of Government representatives has become vacant as a result of the resignation of Ms. Valentina DEIKOVA, |

Notice for the attention of the persons and entities to which restrictive measures provided for in Council Decision 2011/273/CFSP, as amended by Council Decision 2011/628/CFSP, and in Council Regulation (EU) No 442/2011, as amended by Council Regulation (EU) No 950/2011 concerning restrictive measures against Syria apply

COUNCIL OF THE EUROPEAN UNION,
The following information is brought to the attention of the persons and entities that appear in the Annex to Council Decision 2011/273/CFSP, as amended by Council Decision 2011/628/CFSP (1), and in Annex II to Council Regulation (EU) No 442/2011, as amended by Council Regulation (EU) No 950/2011 (2) concerning restrictive measures against Syria.
The Council of the European Union has decided that the persons and entities that appear in the abovementioned Annexes should be included in the list of persons and entities subject to restrictive measures provided for in Council Decision 2011/273/CFSP and in Council Regulation (EU) No 442/2011 concerning restrictive measures against Syria. The grounds for designations of those persons and entities appear in the relevant entries in those Annexes.
The attention of the persons and entities concerned is drawn to the possibility of making an application to the competent authorities of the relevant Member State(s) as indicated in the websites in Annex III to Council Regulation (EU) No 442/2011, in order to obtain an authorisation to use frozen funds for basic needs or specific payments (cf. Article 6 of the Regulation).
The persons and entities concerned may submit a request to the Council, together with supporting documentation, that the decision to include them on the abovementioned list should be reconsidered, to the following address:

Modification of the cut-off dates of the continuously open call for the proposals of the Research Programme of the Research Fund for Coal and Steel as referred to in Article 25 of the Council Decision 2008/376/EC for the years 2012 and 2013

In accordance with the provisions of Article 25 of the Council Decision 2008/376/EC on the adoption of the Research Programme of the Research Fund for Coal and Steel and on the multiannual technical guidelines for this programme (1), allowing the Commission the possibility to alter the cut-off date of 15 September of each year for the submission of proposals for evaluation in accordance with Article 41(d) of this Decision, the Commission has decided that the cut-off date applicable for 2012 will be 18 September 2012 and the cut-off date applicable for 2013 will be 17 September 2013. This modification enters in force on the date of publication of this notice in the Official Journal.

On 15 September 2011, the Commission received notification of a proposed concentration pursuant to Article 4 of Council Regulation (EC) No 139/2004 (1) by which the undertakings Aelia (France), a member of the Lagardère group, and Aéroports de Paris (France), owned by the French state, acquire within the meaning of Article 3(1)(b) of the Merger Regulation joint control of Duty Free Paris (France), and the ‘fashion and accessories’ activities of the undertaking Duty Free Associates SAS (France), located in the airports Paris-Charles de Gaulle and Paris-Orly, by purchase of shares, termination of commercial leases and conclusion of new leases. |
