Before the interview with the selection board, candidates who are admitted to the next stage of the competition will be asked to take part in tests in an assessment centre, in either English, French or German. For organisational reasons, these tests and the interview will be held in Brussels or Luxembourg on consecutive days. The results of the tests will be passed on to the selection board as expert technical input for its decision-making process.

The tests may include:

an exercise to assess management ability;

an interview with a human resources expert, focussing on the applicant's skills.
