3.   Corrigendum (Rule 231)

The ECON Committee had submitted the following corrigendum to a text adopted by Parliament:

Corrigendum P7_TA-PROV(2014)0341(COR01) to the position of the European Parliament adopted at first reading on 15 April 2014 with a view to the adoption of Regulation (EU) No …/2014 of the European Parliament and of the Council establishing uniform rules and a uniform procedure for the resolution of credit institutions and certain investment firms in the framework of a Single Resolution Mechanism and a Single Bank Resolution Fund and amending Regulation (EU) No 1093/2010 of the European Parliament and of the Council P7_TA-PROV (2014)0341 (COM(2013)0520 — C7-0223/2013 — 2013/0253(COD)) — ECON Committee

Pursuant to Rule 231(4), this corrigendum would be deemed approved unless, within 24 hours, a request was made by a political group or at least 40 Members that it be put to the vote.

The corrigendum was available on the Europarl website.

The final draft agenda for the July I 2014 part-session (PE 534.475/PDOJ) had been distributed. No changes had been proposed.

7.   Election of Quaestors of Parliament (first and second ballots)

The President announced that he had received the following nominations for the election of Quaestors:

Catherine Bearder, Dennis de Jong, Karol Karski, Andrey Kovatchev, Bogusław Liberadzki and Elisabeth Morin-Chartier

As the number of candidates exceeded the number of seats to be filled, a secret ballot would be held under Rule 15(1) by electronic vote.

Under Rule 18, second paragraph, the same rules would apply to this election as to the election of vice-presidents.

The vote was held.

Elisabeth Morin-Chartier, Bogusław Liberadzki, Catherine Bearder and Andrey Kovatchev had each obtained an absolute majority of the votes cast and were declared Quaestors of Parliament.

As one seat remained to be filled, a second ballot was required. The President noted that the nominations would be the same as for the first ballot…

The vote was held.

Karol Karski had obtained an absolute majority of the votes cast and was declared a Quaestor of Parliament.

In accordance with Rules 17(2) and 18, the order of precedence of the Quaestors was determined by the order in which they were elected.

The composition of the new Bureau would be communicated to the presidents of the Union's institutions.
