The public holidays in 2011 for the staff of the European Community Institutions in Brussels and Luxembourg shall be as follows:

LUXEMBOURG: the above mentioned dates also apply to Luxembourg, except that Thursday 21 July is replaced by Thursday 23 June, the Luxembourg national holiday.
Work will resume as normal on Tuesday 3 January 2012.
Without prejudice to the public holiday schedule for 2012, Monday 2 January 2012 shall be deemed a public holiday under that year’s entitlements.
The Commission reserves the right to modify these provisions should the needs of the service so require.
